About Me
Hi, I'm Rachel!
I am a certified full spectrum doula, Level II Reiki practitioner, and licensed cosmetologist. My doula practice is rooted in evidence-based education and holistic care, blending practical guidance with emotional and energetic support.
While Reiki is woven into the care I offer my birth clients, it’s also available to anyone seeking healing, balance, or a deeper connection to themselves. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or simply looking for a moment to reconnect; I’m honored to support you through it.
My Story
My career began in the beauty industry. After receiving my cosmetology license in 2015, I spent years working as a hair and makeup artist. I absolutely loved it, but for me, it was never only about the physical look. It was about helping people feel seen, cared for, and confident. That connection has always been the most fulfilling part of my work.

In 2021, I discovered Reiki. It felt like a missing piece I didn’t even realize I’d been searching for. It introduced me to a deeper, more intuitive way of offering care; one rooted in energy, intention, and presence. I completed my Level II Reiki certification later that year, and it quickly became a meaningful part of both my personal and professional life.

Then, in 2023, I gave birth to my son Grayson and everything shifted again. Birth was powerful, beautiful, and deeply transformative. However, even with all my preparation, there were moments I felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, and uncertain. It was only later that I learned what a doula truly was. I didn't realize I had the option to add a professional to my care team whose focus would be entirely on supporting my partner and I. I couldn't help but wonder what it would've been like having someone who deeply understood our preferences and values to close the gap between us and our medical professionals, while also carrying the knowledge of things like pain management, position changes, and medical options that I had been trying to memorize in preparation for birth. I realized how much more relaxed and empowered I would've felt to have someone like that supporting me.

That realization became my clear path forward.

I felt deeply pulled to be this person for others. I knew that my calm, grounded energy could be very beneficial, and my strong intuition would offer guidance for families to follow their own intuition. My years in the beauty industry, my Reiki training, and my experience of becoming a mother have led me here. After my extensive full spectrum training, I finally became a certified doula.

Today, my practice is built on holistic care, evidence-based education, and intuitive support that nurtures body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is a core part of my work, offered both within my doula services and as a standalone service for anyone seeking energy healing.
